What is it?

Sparrow & Petals Post is a Christian snail mail club. Its name comes from Matthew 6 where Jesus talks about how even the needs of the birds and the flowers do not escape His notice. So then how much more He is aware of our needs, as we are more important to Him than they are. Snail mail is a tangible, handmade gift package sent to your mailbox each month via ground shipping.

What’s inside?

Each month will have its own theme. Our first month, May, will be spring themed. The devotional will be on Christlikeness and center around 2 Corinthians 3:18. Each month you’ll receive a handwritten devotional-style letter, a 5×7 art print of an illustration and Scripture verse which corresponds to the devotional (perfect for putting on your windowsill to memorize while doing dishes), custom stickers, and a surprise. The surprise will vary month to month but will be something practical yet beautiful like a bookmark, recipe cards, habit trackers, etc.

What is the devotional about?

The devotional will be in the style of a handwritten letter to a friend. The series will be called "Tiny Reflections: Parenting in His Likeness. The Bible is filled with family language - God as our Father, believers as His children. Have you ever thought about how your relationship with your children mirrors the relationship we have with our heavenly Father? This has been a source of encouragement and conviction for me as I daily train up my children - I hope it will be the same for you.
